Sir Nicholas Winton saved over 600 Czechoslovakian Jewish children from imminent Nazi invasion and certain death. Just before the Second World War broke out, he organized their transfer to Britain – persuaded British Home Office to let them into the country, raised funds for their transport, found them foster homes.
His efforts went unrecognized for 50 years, as he never spoke of his role in saving those children. He was a true hero, and an incredible humble human being at the same time.
Watch what happens when he was unexpectedly reunited with the people he saved!
